The expert work in the fields, the explosion of colors of nature, the passion for good food, the seriousness and the competence are founded and are the basis of the Mastrototaro Food production. In fact, all the products are zero kilometer since they are grown on the family lands in full respect of nature and consumers.
After harvesting, the vegetables are processed by hand and jarred within 24 hours to preserve their freshness and organoleptic qualities. All this following traditional rites and recipes, to enhance the typical products as they used to do at home once.
Infinite exquisiteness and refinement
This is how the delicious Mastrototaro Food pickles are born: aubergines, mushrooms, peppers, artichokes, tomatoes, olives and courgettes are combined with real extra virgin olive oil, always produced on site, for an unparalleled combination of authenticity and goodness. The same vegetables are used to make the highly fragrant patés, ideal for embellishing the tables with tasty and colourful appetizers, delicious side dishes and frugal meals.
Tradition and valorization of typical local products also dominate in the ready-made sauces, which range from the classic tomato and basil purees to rarer and more refined products, such as the “Pric o Prac” sauce, an ancient recipe from Molfetta based on tomatoes and peppers, slightly spicy, which in ancient times was used in the morning to warm up. Or the gem of gems: the lentil and dried tomato mousse of infinite exquisiteness and refinement.
